2025 Chieftain of the Day – Donald McCallum
The Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation is proud to recognize Donald McCallum as honorary Cheiftan of the Day for the 2025 Dunedin Highland Games & Festival, in recognition of his many years as the Master of Ceremonies and “the Voice” of the Dunedin Highland Games.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Donald has faithfully shared the information of the Scottish cultural celebration of the Dunedin Games for decades with the thousands of visitors who attend each year. We thank Don for all he has invested into our event and into sharing these games with our community.

Directions/Parking/FAQs
- Handicap Parking is available at the Dunedin Community Center on a first come, first served basis.
- General Parking is available at several local sites with complimentary shuttles:
- Dunedin High School shuttles will run from 6:30am – 8pm
- Garrison Jones Elementary School and North Dunedin Baptist Church shuttles will run from 7am – 8pm
- Mease Dunedin Hospital Remote Parking Lot shuttles will run from 9am – 8pm.
- No Pets, only service animals are permitted.
- Chairs are permitted. Please do not bring coolers or tents.
