Highland Games – Piping & Drumming
One of the most iconic elements of the Dunedin Highland Games must be the sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe. We are very excited to announce, that our bagpipe and drum competitions are EUSPBA sanctioned events. Solo competition Grades 1-5 and Pipe Band Competition Grades 3-5.
Solo Bagpipes
The Dunedin Highland Games offers solo piping contests for grades 1 to 5. All events are sanctioned by the EUSPBA.
Solo Drumming
The Dunedin Highland Games offers solo drumming contests for Snare, Tenor and Bass drumming as well as Drum Majors. All events are sanctioned by the EUSPBA.
Pipe Band
The Dunedin Highland Games offers pipe band contests for Grades 3, 4 and 5;
Grade 3 is a Medley, Grade 4 is an MSR, and Grade 5 is a Quick March Medley.
All events are sanctioned by the EUSPBA (odd Day rules apply).
